Well said Vag-Fan. The world is full of tragedy and inequity but life for those unaffected will go on with their lives. AudiWorld, like other hobby websites, is a place for enthusiasts to share, ask questions and share experiences and while we shouldn't ignore or forget those less fortunate than the vast majority of our members, we can't stop moving on with our lives and interests. Finally, while there's a time and place for reflecting upon the world's woes, an AW car forum is not it.

Thanks for the feedback (except for the misguided post).

while i appreciate your concern about some of the world's horrors and tragedies it doesn't really have anything to do with buying a product that does not work as designed. there are horror stories of slave labor in china building iphones and other nonsense we don't need in our lives but still consume. if you own any apple products i would be more concerned about their labor practices and the effects it has on their employees over a thread that is discussing the ventilation strength and attributes of a seat. better yet, sell your car buy a $500 car donate the difference to the charity of your choice to help solve the world's problems.

pretty sure the thread is derailed and headed in the wrong direction now. clean up aisle 24699639.

Hi, I was not getting at you in any way and I had tried to word my post in a way that would not portray that I was, it was simply that it was a particularly harrowing sight to see a child suffering as a result of conflict and aggression. It was brought home by 'our' concern over what should really be seen as trivial things in a troubled world. I know that in the great scheme of things it's not possible to have utopia but its sad that such things happen.
As far as ventilated seat go, I had them on my A8 and they were really good. The effect is designed for benefit over a prolonged period and meant to let you get out of the car after a long journey and not have a wet back to your shirt and given time they do very well. If you were hoping to be held down in the seat by the vacuum then I from my experience, they are not going to do that but just improve comfort a little. I have not experienced them in the Q7 but I guess it's the same fan system.

understand and did not take offense but there are a lot of things in this world we can spend time worrying about and concerning ourselves with over discussing vehicles but that is why everyone is on here... to discuss vehicles.

Ok, we've had a chance to sidetrack to Yemen from ventilated seats (there's a long journey) but it's time now to get back and stay on topic. And we should try and remember that this is "AudiWorld", not "World".
