How much is this stuff stateside? In Canada, only the dealerships seem to carry it, and it's $9.59/L
I called an autoparts place and they can order some liqui molly brand that's even more expensive $53/5L jug.
How much is the M1 ESP 5w30 at a B& M store?
Thanks,
Peter

Pepboi is our most common retailer. It had been around $6.50/L about 2 years ago. I hear it's now $12.50. The VW/Audi dealers seem to be all over the map in terms of pricing. Most will be less than the $12.50 price.

Hey folks,
I got my oil change and some Adblue added to the vehicle. Not much on here about the process, so here's a start.
Tools:
Allen wrench for the drain plug (6mm I believe)
17mm Socket for Adblue cap
10mm Socket for underbody fascia removal (about 8 fasteners)
T25 (or T30?) driver to remove underbody fascia (about 10 fasteners)
32mm socket (I used an axle socket from my virgin Harbor Freight kit) to remove the oil filter cap.
Tips:
- Jack up the car. or use ramps.
Excuse the mess.
Peter
- 2 underbody skirts need to be removed to access the drain plug. There are about 16 fasteners that hold the underskirts on. Start by removing the aft skirt, before doing the forward one.
- on the forward underskirt, there are 2 rows of torx fasteners that will need to be undone to remove the plastic. One row is right near the bumper, the 2nd row is about 6" back from that.
- new crush washer on the drain plug
- when u're done draining the oil and buttoning things up, I found it easier to start with one screw the back row of fasteners. The screw threads into a pretty solid part in the engine bay, and can hold up the weight of the fairing.
- plastic engine cover on top of the engine... there are no fasteners to remove for this. It just pops off. Start in one corner, and work your way around. It is held in place by 4 snaps.
