Default What Will E15 Do To The Q7?

Lots of press lately about E15 being approved, and forced upon us here in US.

My 2011 Audi Q7 owner's manual clearly states do not exceed a 10% ethanol fuel mix.

This should be interesting....

Well, you won't have as much to fear as you might think.

E15 cannot be sold without the station clearly showing that it is E15, much like the E85 is labeled.

E15 will not simply phase out e10 and replace it at every gas station. You'll be able to get e10 readily.

As a side note, my late 70's Ski Nautique with a 351 V8 in it was not designed to run e10 in it, but it works just fine. We've been running ethanol blended gas here in SE wisconsin for 20 years and I have yet to see one real issue from running e10. This includes 2 stroke, 4 stroke, weedwackers to big block motors.

My experience.

E10 = about a 10% loss in fuel mileage. This in a 1999 V8 designed to run on premium unleaded 100% gasoline. ymmv

I have yet to see that drastic of a mileage loss from e10....

How long has Atlanta been running E10?
