Looking into purchasing an extra set of wheels/tires to use as a winter setup. Some of the info I've gleaned from the forum seems to indicate that many prefer 18" wheels for this purpose. What are the opinions of others? If not 18's what is your preferred setup? We don't get a ton of snow here in central Indiana. 6-8 inches a few times a winter that lingers for a week or two. Sprinkle in a few smaller dustings and the occasional sleet/ice storm. The biggest benefit I can see, for us, will be the reduced wear and tear on our 20" rims w/all seasons. Thanks, in advance.

An 18" setup would also have a softer ride, more tire sidewall to protect the wheel from winter damaged roads as well as be more economical than a 19" setup in most cases. Even though you do not get a ton of snow this setup will perform better during those time when you need it.
