Default When is the best time to shop for a 2010 Q7 3.6?

I want to see if i can get a good price on a Q7 2010 3.6 (that one of the dealers may have on stock).

When do you guys think is the best time to look for the previous years model? I know the 2011 is out and maybe i can grab the 2010 at a better deal?

Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

New or used? I doubt there are any 2010 new leftover Q7s in any US dealership. 2011s are 5 month wait lists.

As i've seen online there are like 3 dealers that poped up in my area with some remaining stock of 2010 Q7. I'll go Saturday to check them out.

Call them first otherwise you are probably wasting your time. Unless they have hidden away somewhere they are most likely sold. They were really pushing them hard late summer because 2011's started to come out in Sept.

I will give them a call tomorrow to see if they suck at online stock or not

There's not many incentives on 10 models and you'll have to take what you can get.

I think the new S/C engine is a very nice engine and an improvemnt over the old one. Very smooth, quiet, 300 lb ft of torque and 8 speed tranny.

I'd be happy to pay more for an '11. The pricing on '11s is pretty aggressive and you can get an '11 P Plus for 53 grand.

Is it? The GM I am dealing with on our possible buyback tells me there is a wait for 11's and demand is high. I wouldn't think there will be a lot of negotiating on price if this is true. I think with the Q5 sharing the factory Audi has a lot more flexibility to make more of the car which is selling better which keeps production on the other car lower and demand higher(due to less buildup on dealer lots).

@jperryrocks - i just decided this weekend that i'm going for a new 2011 Q7, i'm calling the dealer in about an hour and i'll start asking you guys a few questions.

@chickdr - as i understood the big waiting time (and the no negotiation policy) goes on for the TDI model, but hey, everything depends on you. I will let you guys know in another thread how my negotiations go
