Will AMI work with the Shuffle?

Yes it will work BUT ;;;
... it is limited in capabilities.
I have my AMI for about 2 months now and it works great with my iPod Video.
You get full access to your iPod if it is one like the video, or a click-wheel version. My old one (with the seperate play, ff, rew, ... buttons, ...) doesn't has the full menu access.
However, you can still play the music on this old models through your AMI, but commands has to be made direct on the iPod, also no title info on MMI, ...
The shuffle, and other MP3 players can be connected to the USB-cable and will also play, but with the same limitations as the old iPods : no title info, no commands can by given through the MMI.
