Have a ‘19 q7 and mileage averages 26mpg on the highway. Thinking about another one for this year and it seems that the mileage has bumped down quite a bit. Anyone have any experience with mpg yet? Really not crazy about the looks of the MB GLE 450 but mileage is much better and very difficult to deal with the MB’s ordering convoluted structure.

I find it interesting that people obsess about Differences in fuel mileage when looking at these though. Unless you are driving an awful lot of miles annually, a difference in a couple of miles per gallon don’t add up to all that much.
Over 20,000 miles you would use an additional 80 or gallons of fuel moving from an average of 23 mpg to 21 mpg.

Reports are filtering in that suggest fuel mileage of the new turbo engines are similar to the previous engine. Someone posted that they got 28.8 mpg on a trip. I am sure that driving style has a lot to do with the number you will see.

Actually I do drive close to 25K/year. But I agree , if you’re not a high mileage driver it doesn’t make all that much difference.
