I buy FCP so I can send them back for their lifetime warranty
I literally buy every part for all 3 of my cars from them to support that company and their warranty

Might want to try this before getting robbed at the dealer: Audi Ultimate Brake Kit (Q7 4M) 015652 by Europa Parts | Europa Parts
If I go ahead and purchase the kit, where would you guys recommend me to go and get it installed/replaced? South FL region.

that is a really good deal. fremax rotors are kind of cheap though and rust a bit more than OEM or OEA. Find a local indy mechanic who is well respected in your area and ask them what it costs to do brakes labor only. See if they are ok with you bringing your own parts.

So my car was in for service and the dealership mentioned that the pads and rotors are getting close to needing replacement. The quote for the front and back was $3600 for replacement pads and rotors.
Certainly, considering the dealership premium, I was surprised to find that the parts alone, including OEM options, amount to $1500 according to online retailers. Now, when exploring replacement options for pads and rotors, I'm interested in suggestions for good alternatives and their associated costs if I were to opt for independent installation. This decision-making process feels a bit like choosing between different hair colors.

I'm in the planning phase for my upcoming brake job on my 2018 Q7. I'll layout my plan and hopefully you guys can provide some comments/recommendations so that I can adjust my plan accordingly to your experiences and feedback. I'm planning on picking up the centric rotors for the front and rear: Front part number 125.33158 Rear part number 125.33155 I'm still up in the air about brake pads so I'm open to recommendations. Also, does anyone know how many pad wear sensors are installed on the 4M Q? I assume one for the front and another for the rear. Are there any favorites for the aftermarket pad wear sensors? Thank you for your time and support,

I suggest taking a look at the VNE and Zimmerman rotors if you're looking to save a little money over OEM. FCP Euro carries them (and has their lifetime warranty to boot).

Each corner has their own brake pad wear sensor so you'll need 2 for the front and 2 for the rear. If they haven't tripped the warning yet, they can be reused.

I’ve had good luck with Zimmerman, but I’m new to VNE. How do they compare in quality?

Best deal I could find on OE quality front rotors was at Tire rack. $269 each for SHW Performance.
