I can't imagine not having tow capability. But if it were $1700, yeah, I can imagine not having tow capability.

I ended up with the 2017 Q7 Premium Plus. Same sales person as the other MN person here.

The other two Audi dealerships had a total of two 2018 Q7s in stock and would not go any lower than 4% off. They said they had more orders than upcoming inventory.

I'm happy with the price I received and love the Q7.

To the person who mentioned towing with an X5 I agree. Putting a hitch on the X5 is brutal. The 2019 X5 will finally have a factory hitch option.

Can't you get the parts for $400 OEM and bolt it in in an hour?

I see a dealer selling them that says "Due to the extremely high volume of orders we regularly experience, please allow up to 5-10 business days for your product to ship out and to receive your shipping tracking number."

Translation - this is a hobby business run out of our house. We have a regular job, and so just ship on Saturdays.

Congrats! Glad you were able to get a good deal.

P.S.I liked Richfield Audi's free espresso machines - I love espresso, macchiato and latte. While working with Jen and others there I did apply a good effort on decimating their coffee supply.

My friend just bought a used 2015 X5M about two months ago. He was frustrated trying to add a hitch to it, and finding winter tires. I just found out today he already sold it and bought a Land Rover.
