Default 2018: 3.0T P+ vs 2.0 P+ vs 3.0 Prestige: Options

For the 2018 model I wanted to understand the difference between what can be ordered between the three trims.

From what I have understood the following options are only available in Prestige and are standard with the trim:
  • Heads Up Display
  • Colored Interior LED Light (P+ has white lights)
  • Soft Close Doors
Is there any difference between 2.0 P+ and 3.0 P+?

I also seem to notice that almost all Prestige are ordered with the 21" with Summer Tires.

Do folks get AS tires separately for Ski trips?

Or are the dealers willing to swap.

You would be surprised, a TON of prestige's are ordered with the 20" wheels. 95% of the prestiges at my local dealerS have the 20" wheels. My '17 Q7 and ordered '18 Q7 are both prestiges with the 20" wheels. There now is an all season option for the 21" wheels, which can be added when you order, and a lot of dealers are stocking their 21" prestige's with all seasons.

The Prestige trim is only available on 3.0, while the Premium and Premium Plus can be had in either 2.0 or 3.0. Other than that, there is no other difference between the trim options on 2.0 and 3.0

The 2.0 P+ has the Vavona Leather option in Cedar Brown.
https://www.audiusa.com/audicode/AHHMAZZC

The 3.0P+ is not showing Cedar Brown is an option.

I love the perforated Cedar Brown color!

Is it a problem with the online configurator or are those seats only available on the 2.0.

Here in NorCal I am not seeing many in 20".

And the 21" does not seem to even have the all season option at Tire-Rack in AUDI OE. There is a Porsche OE at $500/tire

That is correct, the tires are NOT for-sale on tire rack yet, but cars ARE coming from the factory with all seasons equipped. https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-...tires-2933277/ here is the HUGE thread all about the 21" all seasons coming from the factory. The amount of 21" prestige's must vary from state to state. The roads in the North East (I'm in PA/NJ) are horrendous, which probably is why we see less 21" Q7's and mostly 20" prestiges.

I ordered a prestige with BOP and specifically asked for the 21s. At that time, it only came with summer tires which was fine with me because I always put on a separate winter setup.

In addition, the following (extra cost) items can only be ordered on a Prestige:

Luxury Pkg
Black Optic Pkg
Adaptive Chassis
21" 5-twin spoke wheels
Night Vision
Bang & Olufsen sound

The following P+ options come standard on Prestige:

Vision Pkg
Warm Weather Pkg
20" 10-spoke-star-design with all season run flats

The order guide (attached) makes it all clear. (May not be the most up to date version.)

That's not true. The 21s with summers are a huge no-no for people who deal with snow and ice, and actually know a thing or two about tires
