25 Laser Light?

25 Laser Light?
So I am considering putting an order in for the 25 Q7. I see that at the prestige level you can get laser lights. Does anyone know if these are appreciably better than the regular lights IN THE USA?
That is, with the matrix DESIGN essentially being a gimmick in the United States due to regulations, I’m wondering if the laser lights offer any benefit.

Truthfully I have no idea. I know my 19’ Q7 is very disappointing in terms of headlights - while I’ll be moving away from the Audi brand I believe their newer headlights are significantly better

Should not be a problem as the same control modules involved in the matrix functionality are being used for the first-facelift and now the second-facelift Q7 models as well.
The matrix activation is done remotely. When ordering this product:

You receive a VAS interface. You setup an appointment for a remote session. Using your laptop and the supplied interface the activation is done purely remotely through your laptop to the car. All in all generally 30-40 minutes total, if not less.
The matrix functionality in North America is likely not going to be activated for some years. The NHTSA has set rules that are far more strict on the behavior and preciseness of how matrix style headlights have to function in the US. This means that the current matrix headlights that are being used cannot be activated as they won't meet the guidelines set forth for the US.
So for now and likely the next following years activating the matrix functionality remotely like this will be the only option, unless something drastic changes with the NHTSA regulations.
Cheers,
