Anyone have warped rotors this early?

It's possible the pads are building up with dust which doesn't make them seat smoothly with light pressure. Try a couple really hard brakes and then see if they are fine. Washing them out should fix it as well.
If you are really gentle on the brakes, they can build up (that does seem like low mileage though).

This post provides a good set of explanations: https://mycarneedsa.com/blog/causes-...-how-to-fix-it

I really think my Q7 is a lot of vehicle for the cost coming from Lexus.

Oh I know that. Been down the MB and Porsche roads and they are a nightmare. I did look at the XC90 but when I found out that Volvo was just getting into the electronics . . . well that put me off.

Uneven deposits on the rotors is the most common cause of "judder" or what feels like warped rotors. Do a search for "bedding in brakes" and you will find multiple descriptions of the procedure which is basically 8 or 10 repeated heavy brake applications from about 60 mph down to 10 mph. I had to do this about once a year on my BMW 530i. This shouldn't be necessary on a new car with new brakes from the factory but in your case it might be worth a try.

The key is doing one of those hard braking procedures, and letting the rotors cool before the next one. I had similar issues as Rjim with my BMW 340. I don't use the brakes much (usually picking a gear to slow vs stomping on the petal), and light braking doesn't get the pads moving enough and they pack in with brake dust. Once you do some hard braking, they slide free again.

Well I just broke 5k and am still facing the issue of the brakes shuddering at high speeds. I attempted to "bed them" as did my dealer, and it was to no avail. I may have to bring it in sooner then the 10k to get this addressed.
Question for other Q7 owners- how smooth are your brakes? Do they feel smooth?
My current allroad has brakes that are smooth as glass.

Sorry Bud this is happening.
I just changed my brakes & rotors at 80,000 and nothing wrong other than what the dealership picked up with the 10,000 mile intervals.
Something "not normal" there.
