Starting a few months ago, my FM radio was constantly interrupted by CarPlay. Every time I switch to radio, within a few minutes, radio will stop, and MMI will show CarPlay interface. It was so bad, I had to disconnect the lighting cable if I want to listen to FM radio.
Anyone notice the same problem?
BTW, I have a 2016 q7 prestige. Located in US.

Thanks. I have two iphones experiencing the same problem, so I will start with changing the lighting cable, and maybe different USB port on Q7.

Is anyone using the phone?
If someone is on a webpage (or FB, Instagram, whatever) and an audio file attempts playing, it will interrupt it and switch to CarPlay. Even scrolling past a video that has audio embedded will do it.

No. There was no notification either.
I thought this has something to do with iOS updates. Both phones are on latest 11.4.1.
I changed lighting cable, and different USB port under armrest. Still having problem.

Did you try to use a toothpick to clean up the lightning port on the iPhone? The dirt/lint in the port could cause random connect/disconnect issues.

I also had another 2018 A3, and same iPhone is working without any interruption. Very strange.

Update:
It is also happening with 2018 A3.
After updating to iOS12 on both iPhones, so far this problem is gone for both Q7 and A3. Hopefully it stays like this.
