So, I have tried multiple different settings for each different kinds of sources, including, 320kbps mp3s and flac from sd card (which it surprisingly plays), however....the sound is still very bland. Unless there is a magic setting on the bose system, the lows are non-existent. What's your recommendation for a sub-woofer change?

yes it is. buddy has a 2018 F-150 I think. has the "budget B&O" system in it. sounds good, but not the same as these 17 speaker systems in the audis...

I ended up switching out for a 10" (just tinkereing) but the 8" sounds just great. I will probably post to sell the box and 8" sub if anyone is interested. It has the brackets already made, just need to add amp and wire appropriately.

What is the sub?
And what amp were you using? How many watts?

I’ve been bothered by the lack of bass output as well with our Bose system. I’ve read forums and researched way too much on this... decided I’m going to swap a JL Audio ACS110LG-TW1 for the stock sub/enclosure. It should be 10x better than the Bose sub system. I’ll keep you posted when installed.
