Not sure how many have noticed this phenomenon.

So here is what I mean by bouncing oil level in MMI.

1. After a drive 10 days ago, I checked oil level and it was at max.
2. Five days ago after a drive it was showing about a 1/3rd below max.
3. Three days ago before drive it was 2/3rd below max. After driving went back up and was 1/3 rd below max.
4. This morning with cold engine the oil level was a hair below max.

2nd and 3rd point I can rationalize and understand. The weird, part is point # 4 above.


I guess some special "Audi Oil Fairy" came in the middle of the night and topped up the oil.

Wonder what is going on here.

The difference between min and max according to dealer is only about 1 liter.
