Default Download 2020/21 North America map files

I recently downloaded and installed 2020/21 North America map files.
For those of you interested, I have uploaded them here. It's about 11GB

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Teh...ew?usp=sharing

To simplify download and managing files, I created a zip file of all the files directories and uploaded one single file.
Once you download the zip unzip it and make sure you restore paths/directories. You should get the following directories and files:

Thanks for these, but no workie for me this time. I removed the old maps from my SD card and replaced them with these two folders and 2 files and the MMI responds "no valid data" on the card. I suppose there could be corruption so I'll delete them and try downloading again.

Not sure why there is a problem. I installed mine on Q7 yesterday and it worked fine. Then I uploaded to my Google drive. Let's see if anyone else has problems then I might have to re-upload them.

I think we're good now. I re-downloaded and now the MMI sees the update. It came down as 7 zip files for the 2 folders and one or more must have become corrupted when I downloaded them. I just got it started and will report back when it completes.

Thanks again!

Chris

when I downloaded, it also created a bunch of zip files. When I expanded those back up, there were some duplicate files names, but different sizes. So when I went to put everything back into the 2 folders, I would have to choose which version of the file to use. Did that happen to you also?

Yes, there were 7 zip files that downloaded. I unzipped them into the root of my SD card. The files all went into the correct 2 folders automatically and it all worked fine.

I guess I'm confused about the number of files, etc., that should be downloaded. The 2 files on Google Drive (Mib1 and Mib2) resulted in the download for me of only 4 zip files (not 7). Mib1 contained 1 zip file, and Mib2 contained 3, as follows:

Mib1-20200922T060820Z-004
Mib2-20200922T061907Z-001
Mib2-20200922T061907Z-003
Mib2-20200922T063256Z-002

It's my understanding that each of the above files must be unzipped to the root of my SD card, which can then be used to install the map update in my vehicle.

I also downloaded two other files, 02310026.md5 and metainfo2, but I'm not sure these need to be copied to my SD card and installed on my vehicle.

I've downloaded map updates from Audi's website before and installed them ok until they deleted that function earlier this year, but I'm reluctant to install the current files in my vehicle unless I'm clear on my understanding of what files go where, particularly given the discrepancy between 7 zip files one poster downloaded, and the 4 I was able to download. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks for your help. BTW, where did you find the entire NA map set? I looked on the MyAudi website as well as the app, and couldn't find it.
