Mib1-20200922T060820Z-004
Mib2-20200922T061907Z-001
Mib2-20200922T061907Z-003
Mib2-20200922T063256Z-002

It's my understanding that each of the above files must be unzipped to the root of my SD card, which can then be used to install the map update in my vehicle.

I also downloaded two other files, 02310026.md5 and metainfo2, but I'm not sure these need to be copied to my SD card and installed on my vehicle.

I've downloaded map updates from Audi's website before and installed them ok until they deleted that function earlier this year, but I'm reluctant to install the current files in my vehicle unless I'm clear on my understanding of what files go where, particularly given the discrepancy between 7 zip files one poster downloaded, and the 4 I was able to download. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I can't comment on why you got fewer zip files, but maybe Google Drive treated yours differently than mine. You can try to download again and see if you get a different number. I had corruption the first time and needed to try again myself. The key thing is that all the zip files that are named "Mib1" must go in a new folder called that and the same for "Mib2". The other two small files must stay in the root. So when it is ready you will have 2 files and 2 folders.

I have uploaded the exact files/directories that need to be on the SD card and installed on Q7. I am not sure how Google zips them, but at the end you'll have to have two directories Mib1 and Mib2 and those two other files on the root directory of your SD card.
Perhaps it would have been better if I had zipped everything into one file and put on the drive but it takes a long time for me to redo the whole thing...

Not sure why. I see several maps for download on my Myaudi account, one for all of N.A. and the separate files for Canada, Mexico, US and different sections of US.
I also have the file for Canada.

This must be it. I tried re-downloading the files using Microsoft Edge and got 7 zips, so evidently, Google Drive doesn't like Firefox. I unzipped them from my computer's "Downloads" section directly to my 64 GB SD card, and they all relocated appropriately to either an "Mib1" or "Mib2" folder. Once the other two files ("metainfo.txt") and a small .md5 file) were moved to the SD card, the upgrade went smoothly after inserting the card in the SD1 slot of my vehicle. Many thanks to all for helping me troubleshoot this! These forums are the best!

Also, I'll take another look at the MyAudi website to find out if I overlooked an update/download function I thought had gone away.

Mad props to this... downloading now! I've never been able to see them in the US MyAudi account and I guess my five 'free' downloads of maps were already used up in my new-to-me Q7

Curious what tool you're using to unzip the files into the same folder? On my Mac, using either the Mac OS provided Archive Utility tool or a 3rd party Unarchiver tool, the zip files keep unzip to their own folders and so I get multiple Mib1 and Mib2 folders. I've tried both extracting to a folder on the HD and also directly to an SD card as well. I'm trying to not have to manually merge the folders/files.

Fellow Mac user as well... I did extract an individual folder per zip file but from there it was pretty simple. Use the first folder as your 'master' (called 2020-21) and open it to the side. Open another Finder window for each of the subsequent zip file (2020-21 2, 3, 4, 5, etc) and copy/drag the folder to the 2020-21 folder WHILE holding the option key down. That will give you the 'Merge' option.

TL,DR; Copy contents of extracted files 2-7 to the first folder (2020-21) and hold the option key to add the Merge option.

Nice, works like a charm! Thanks, keep forgetting some of these hidden options.

I can't be the only one who has had access to these maps. I am surprised. Glad it has helped others, that's why I uploaded them here.

Do you have Audi Connect by chance? If so, that may be where. I don't have it... my myAudi site just feels like a digital sales brochure for the most part with only a sprinkling of details about my actual vehicle.
