Default Dynamic mode issue

I mostly drive my Q7 in Auto (drive select) and love the drive, but when I change to dynamic mode i feel the drive to bit jerky when I am slowing down. Is this something to with transmission or just the way it is. Thanks for your inputs.

Its normal. I use dynamic mode for engine braking all the time when coasting down hill.

Yes, that's normal. If you switch to dynamic mode, the transmission goes into Sport mode, indicated by an S in the dash, versus D for normal mode. In sport mode, it downshifts more aggressively as you slow down in order to be in the right gear once you accelerate again. If you like to be in Dynamic mode, but have the transmission be more civilized, you can always pull down on the shift lever to manually toggle between D and S w/o changing out of Dynamic mode.
