Default Founderscard - $300 over invoice.

Membership of founders card isn't particularly cheap each year but I've used many of the other benefits they have negotiated to save a little money or get a few privileges here or there (especially with travel) . One benefit is with Audi. Maybe it will help someone on the site. Got some restrictions but worth an ask if your in the market to buy. If it's anything like the Costco car buying program just the fact it exists gives you the opportunity to negotiate whether your a member or not.

I'm a member and I've never used this perk, but it does seem like good value. I'll be attempting to use it on my next car purchase (soon will be upgrading my 2010 Q5).

Keep in mind, there is some fine print with the offer:

"-At participating United States dealers, you will be able to purchase or lease select MY16/17/18 Audi models at Dealer Invoice price plus $300 (excluding RS3, A5 Sportback, RS5, Audi Q5 (MY18), RS7, Audi Q7, A8 W12, S8 Plus, R8, and TTS. Other exclusions may apply.).
-Examples of Dealer Invoice pricing may be found online via websites like Edmunds.com or others, but we make no guarantee of accuracy on those prices listed.
-FoundersCard Members can purchase one (1) Audi vehicle per year with this program.
"

As for the rest of the Founders Card membership, I have received just under $4,300 in value during my first year alone. You can read more about my experience here: https://thetechreviewer.com/service/...s-card-review/

I hope to be able to add a section with the Audi perk redemption within the next year.

Nothing special since it is trivially easy to get car at invoice price, and with some work, even thousands below.

This must have been discussed in a thread that I somehow missed - can you provide a link/citation?

My experience, which accords with the discussions I've read on here, is that with thorough comparison shopping one can get a price ~$500 above invoice or ~7% below MSRP. Thousands below invoice would equate to > 10% below MSRP which I have not really heard of, at least on an '18 Prestige.

I got 12% off my 2018 A4 Prestige a few weeks ago, and I had two dealers offering that deal. I had to pick between them. It was actually 12.5% after the loyaly. No trade in. I didn’t try as hard on my Q7 and so got 7% off.
