Default Front Bumper Removal and RSQ7 grille

RSQ7 Grille successfully installed!

Took a good 6 hours. Getting the bumper off is about 30% of the total job, and it is quite frankly the easiest part of the install! There are about 30 tabs holding various sections of the grilled to the bumper, which are a pain to get off.

Fitment Overall ~85-90%
On the lower lateral (left and right) edges of the grille there is about a 0.05cm gap between the grille and bumper. Defiantly not noticeable unless you are actively looking for the defects. The worst part (fitment wise) about the grille are the 2 front parking sensors housing. THEY WILL REQUIRE MODIFICATION. Nothing drastic, but its not 100% plug and play. Other wise the grille looks excellent from an exterior point of view. Other complaint, the honeycomb grille part is a bit flimsy. (easy to push in). There is a backing that fastens to the grille but it does not completely solidify the mid-section of the grille.

Again, if it wasn't for the parking sensor housing modification, I'd say this grill fits about 95% to OEM.

Before

After

The lower lateral edges. You really have to look...

A big thank you to noxqzs

That's pretty cool. Was it from ebay and do they also have Black Optic style grilles?

Thanks. I may investigate this when my Q7 comes and if this thread confirms fit and finish are acceptable.

The front impact bar was spray painted black. Everything else was black as OEM.
