Default Here are the All-Terrain/All-Weather tires for your 20"s

Hey fellow Q7 owners, got our Q7 last year here in Colorado and have been looking for All-Terrain/All-Weather year-round tires for those rough roads to the campground that also give you great traction in the snow. Not many options out there for the 20s but there is one that is a really really good tire.
Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail 265/50R20 111V
The tire is slightly larger then the OEM recommended tires for the 20s (-1.1% error) with a good ride quality and protection for your wheels. Don't let the numbers mislead you that it's a narrower tire, it's not. I replaced an undersized Michelins that came with the car with the size of 275/45R20, and the Wildpeaks are about 1" wider that those, I guess pretty close to the OEM required 285/45R20. These are very beefy tires and also have great speed and load ratings - 111V.
Here are some pictures, enjoy!

I put the same tires (20” as well) on my Q7 this winter as well. They’ve been great for when we went to Tahoe. Will be swapping back to the OEM 22’s soon.

Looks awesome. How is NVH and ride quality at highway speeds? Any "hum" like the lifted pavement princess Jeeps all over the roads here?

Thanks! NOTE: Q7 is equipped with the active chassis package with the air suspension, which makes ride smoother to begin with. I tested them on the highway at 75mph after the install and they feel great. Noise is slightly higher than the all-season Michelins(half way worn) they replaced, which is to be expected, but nothing even close to those lifted off-road Jeeps and trucks with super aggressive off-road tires on. No vibrations at all, great balance job by my tire installers. Honestly with the excellent cabin insulation of the Q7 you will barely hear anything even with the most aggressive off-road tire. You need to stop the music and tell the kids to be quiet Coming from a whiny Subaru Outback with A/T tires, Q7 is whisper quiet with these tires.
Cornering at speeds seems better due to the stiffer sidewalls and wider tread on the Falkens, at around 70-75F degree outside. But of course I don't expect ultra high performance summer tire handling characteristics from these.

Those look great. I'll be trading in the stock Pirelli RFs before the weather gets bad next year and will definitely consider these.

Right now the Nokian WRG4 is the leader in the clubhouse (Mhoran89's suggestion).

The Nokian WRG4 looks like a great All-Weather tire but lacks the extra All-Terrain capability which is the more important feature I was looking for. The Falkens also have great sidewall and wheel protection. I am sure the Nokians will be quieter on the highway but I am not really worried about the road noise.

I have the air ride too, love it! But what's even better than that is the 4WS....

Level of insulation is key to quieting down these cars. If you haven't noticed the wheel wells are carpet lined. What a mess if you do dirt roads or get into some mud.... but I am convinced the carpet in them is what makes these cars super quiet. The only other car I have had that on was a A8L and it was even quieter than my newer Q7.

I have these on my Allroad and wish I had gone the same route on the SQ7. They are truly the best balance of AT and AW tires. If smooth ride is what you are after the more sidewall you have the better.
