My dealer had S4 loaners. I almost got one at one point, but then I walked up to it and it had a flat tire, so I ended up in another A3 instead. But yeah that was and still is probably my biggest peeve about the loaners. As an RS, AMG, etc. owner you get some dull regular model as a loaner. You get spoiled driving performance cars and when given a regular model they all suck.

Have others had dealer valet service pick up their car/drop off loaner and then drop off your car/pick up loaner or is that another rarity? I live across state lines about 45 minutes each way from the dealership so I really appreciate the 2+ hour savings on both ends of each service visit.
My dealer will pick up your car for service and return it as long as you are within 25 miles.

Pre-Covid yes but ever since that nonsense started, you have to reserve far in advance although they will still pickup and deliver the car back to me. Just no loaners until recently again.

Was in at Audi Hawthorne, NY this week for my fuel pump recall replacement.

Couldn't have been more pleased w. the service - did fuel pump, 40k service and wheel alignment. Everything feels fine afterwards, rear all back as it should be.

Received a 3k mile A5 sportback s-line as a loaner for 2days, bit smoky smelling and would have preferred a Q of some sort, but a good car for a loaner.

They had the below crazy things in their inventory too - matt green RSQ8 and a $152k spec'd RS6 in Goodwood Green with an additional $30k dealer markup to $182k. There was apparently a Merlin Purple in last month with a $60k markup...
