The delivery specialist said the same thing. With BMWs, at least with some of the models, if you didn't have comfort access pkg (basically key stays in ur pocket), you would need to plug in ur key fob to start the car. Those key DO charge while being plugged in in the dash. Those with comfort access, the key fob uses battery, because the key stays the pants pocket or inside purses and not need to plug the key fob anywhere.

So do all Q7 models have keyless entry?

You guys realize that those CR2032 batteries are NOT rechargeable, right? The BMW key fobs have the built-in battery and charges like a sonic care tooth brush.

Audi key fobs are not rechargeable.

There is a q7 review on youtube and the reviewer mentions the keyfob charges on the key ID pad in front of the armrest. More mis-information.
