Hi All-recentky picked up a 2017 Prestige w/ Air Suspension. My first Audi ever. It didn't come with factory tow package so got local installer (recommended by Audi dealership) to install Stealth Hitch package
Question-can my setup really tow 7700 lbs w/ 770 lbs tongue weight? Note the distance b/w ball joint and receiver (10 inches vs 6.19 as recommended by manual)

We have the factory tow bar, and have been towing all over New Zealand for over a year full time travelling. This car is an amazing tow vehicle. We are at its limits and need to be very concious of our loading to not exceed it. It is very stable and confident...air suspension is so worth it. The Q7 has a really good GCM and payload etc which allows you to tow the full 7700lbs plus its full payload without exceeding GCM and rear axle limit etc if loaded correctly. We have tire pressure monitors for all tyres (car and rv) and travel at around 50mph (new Zealand is small compared to the states) and obviously have a good brake controller etc.
