Default Michelin Tires - Price mistake

Hi all,

Just ordered new Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 All-Season 285/40ZR21/XL 109Y Tires from Walmart. I believe these tires are priced incorrectly at $219 each (normally ~$390). I guess if you are on the fence, order now. I currently have Scorpions non-RF. Front tires are gone at 14k miles due to sides has no thread remaining. I forgot to rotate them though. I believe i have a little misalignment. Back tires are fine and will probably sell them or keep as emergency spare.

Also, anyone tried to use them yet?

Thank you.

Yeah, appears the website is screwed up. Note these are listed as all season, yet they are summer tires.

Hi Dave, no such information is listed on the website. Walmart sells exactly the same tires but calls them SUV tires. I already have above tires on hand, just wanted to get an advise from this community if I missed anything.
Thats the exactly the same tire, but for "SUV".

Yeap, two different tires are sold under the same name basically. I agree with the link - sold as A/S but description is Summer.

At the end of the day the SUV "nomenclature" is irrelevant. It is the load rating that is what you should be looking at. As stated, sometimes MFGs will list the same exact tire but one as a "passenger car tire" and one as a "SUV tire".

0721 stamped on tires means the 7th week of 2021.
