The 100mpg is in hybrid mode, so with the assistance of electric.
Longest drive so far is 100 miles, so I'm excited to try 300 miles this weekend to see how that impact the mileage.
In pure diesel mode, I think it's is around 50mpg, but it's hard to tell, since it's slowly charging the battery at the same time.
For you considering the e-tron in the US, remember the price tag. The only reason I do not have one of the other versions is the tax savings on the hybrids. In Norway a normal gas/diesel car can cost double of triple of what your'e paying due to car tax. The tax is based on weight and CO2.
So since hybrid and electric cars do not have this tax these models are cheaper than the others.
So since you do not have much of a car tax, I guess this model will cost you 10-15 K USD more than the SQ7, so much more than the 3.0 TFSI model. I tried to build the e-tron on the Audi.de site now, and it ended up at 110 000 EUR / 118 000 USD.
Even tho it's cool to have the low mpg I would still have taken the SQ7 any day over my e-tron. (SQ7 with it's emission figures cost 215 K USD in Norway so it's out of my league)
However, in a few years I hope and believe that the e-tron /EV's will be cheaper than the "normal" car.

I actually hadn't seen the color in person before so was very excited. Luckily I liked it

Which country do you come from? (you should include that in your profile, since the cars can vary a lot from area to area)
