Default Is this normal?

When getting out of the car, only one light stays on for a while. Eco-friendly or a problem?

It is a setting in your MMI.

This is a feature called "Entry/exit lighting", it is described in page 50 of the owner's manual. You can turn it off in MMI.

Parking light? I don't think we have them on vehicles in NA but it would be for if you are parked on a dark street so that the side of your car away from the pavement is illuminated. Sometimes activate by dipping indicator stalk before you leave car, are you leaving indicator on when you leave car? But maybe a setting in MMI?

Just leaving the car. These are definately exit lights, but h9ave never seen a car illuminste only 1 side. As you see I also have the lower leds in the etron, but they illuminate both. Exot lights work when light setting is in auto.

Interesting. I don't think it works this way in NA models.

Take it back to the dealer. something is wrong with one of the control modules. Mine was like this when we got it. We had to take it back and forth 3 times since 2 of the control modules in mine went bad. And after replacing they forgot to program certain features (moonroof wouldn't open, etc).

Any other guess than control module?
