That is when the tach and speedo needles simulate the sweep from zero to max and back to zero that mechanical gauges sometimes do when power is first applied. Purely cosmetic for the electronic gauges.

Oh, so the coding in Central Electrics doesnt set high beams to auto *always*? Ugh, thats what I wanted. I already have manual auto high beams.

Wait a minute. Is this what you did?

09 - Central Electrics
Coding->high_beam_functions->high-beam assistant

A5 - Front Camera Driver Assist ->High-Beam_Assist->Active

If so, that is for cars without auto high beam like the A4 Premium plus. It helps in activating auto high beam which is disabled from the factory.

If you already had it activated in your car, the coding should've looked like that in stock itself, right?

I havent done anything yet, since I cant get into Central Electrics with OBDEleven right now.

I have high beam assistant native in my Q7, but i have to push the stalk to activate it.

What I want, is to have it always on. Thats how my prior Infiniti worked. I never had to touch anything, the high beams went on all the time when they were needed.

Well. I don't think Mitchfin has discovered how to do that yet. Plus I don't know whether it is possible. This code only helps cars without high beam assist to have it.

Has anyone figured out how to enable the ability to change the colors of the interior lighting like you can on the prestige package?

Buy a Prestige package car... There is actually unique hardware required.

It cannot be coded. They have made hardware changes.
The leds are present in the car but Audi has supposedly cut the wires providing supply to it. You need to open the panel up and redo the wiring and change leds and stuff. There is a thread somewhere here or in the A4 sub forum on how to go about it.
