That is when the tach and speedo needles simulate the sweep from zero to max and back to zero that mechanical gauges sometimes do when power is first applied. Purely cosmetic for the electronic gauges.

Coding->high_beam_functions->high-beam assistant
A5 - Front Camera Driver Assist ->High-Beam_Assist->Active
If so, that is for cars without auto high beam like the A4 Premium plus. It helps in activating auto high beam which is disabled from the factory.
If you already had it activated in your car, the coding should've looked like that in stock itself, right?

I have high beam assistant native in my Q7, but i have to push the stalk to activate it.
What I want, is to have it always on. Thats how my prior Infiniti worked. I never had to touch anything, the high beams went on all the time when they were needed.

I havent done anything yet, since I cant get into Central Electrics with OBDEleven right now.

The leds are present in the car but Audi has supposedly cut the wires providing supply to it. You need to open the panel up and redo the wiring and change leds and stuff. There is a thread somewhere here or in the A4 sub forum on how to go about it.
