Hi all - New to Audi and just picked up the 2018 Q5 PP+ with Nav/LED pkg/Cold pkg/..

I was only looking for VIM but now I found all this.

not much talk about the new Q5 and OBDeleven, but would it be possible to do the same

1 -Turn on the driver lane assist and high beam assist. I do have the pre-sense
2 - turn on the VIM (yes per OBD11)
3 - turn on the auto traffic assist?
4 - sweeping gauge (yes per OBD11)
not sure what else we can do on the vehicle.

I know I will increase the blink, turn off the seatbelt chimp, turn on the sweeping gauge.

And is the Pro version needed? for the long coding? and where would we find all these coding steps. (sorry new to OBD/VCDS thingy)

Guys., sorry i'm very new to all this coding and still trying to understand before I jump into this.

I put together this list and hope i understand all this correct?

1 - all the coding should work on any new Audi models correct?
2 - when using long coding(OBD11-Pro version) , you dont need credits like using the "apps" menu?
3- please see if the step are correct.

I didn't sync my phone (ODBeleven device) but still worked. I have a stand-alone dedicated device using for coding.

Found more info

Automatic Rain Closing

09 - Central Electronics
Security Access - 16
Code = 31347
(15) Access Control 2 - Regenschliessen_ein aus = Active (Rain Closing On / Off)
(16) Access Control 2 - Regenschliessen_art = Permanent (Rain Closing Type)
(28) Access Control 2 - Menuesteuerung Regenschliessen = Active (Driver Assist Rain Closing Menu)

09 - Central Electronics
Select RLFS from SubMenu
Change Long Code to 07006C

Testing:

1) Light Switch in Auto position.
2) Wiper stalk in 1st / Auto position.
3) All windows fully open.
4) Locked car and wait for 2 mins.
5) Spray water on windscreen sensor and bam... windows close

Couple of things to note. This does not close the sunroof. Also, after every test I would have to reset the auto up/down function of the windows. Comfort open/close would not work until I did this. I will use this feature so little these little nuances don't bother me.

That's where the one touch open close stops working and you have to follow the steps to reset. Only takes a few seconds and i guess this is only after the rain activated close which is probably something that won't happen that often?

Right...

All of this coding is for VW models. Would be great if someone found the corresponding coding for the new Audi models to use in OBD11.
