You have to have the HVAC on for this to work. However, I think you can turn the A/C off but leave the system on and it will still work.

Also, in my 2017 Q7, when I turn the HVAC off, I get momentary stop/starts, but it never stays stopped for more than a 1/2 second.

Well that won't help me much. I am expecting to see snow in a week. Are there any other options?

I don't understand. If it's going to get cold, wouldn't you have the HVAC system on? BTW, HVAC = "heating, ventilation and air conditioning". In other words, the climate control system. As long as you don't turn it completely off by pressing the OFF button, this coding should work. So again, as long as the heating system is on, this should work.

RickObe, is this same as 100 Credit App in OBDEleven? If so, that's misleading and I think OBDEleven developer must indicate that this requires HVAC to be on for this function to work.

I don't know, but I would guess it probably is. Only way to know for sure would be to run the app and then check if that's the adaptation that got changed. I myself have never used an OBD11 app.

So personal route assistance not working even though traffic is back. Anyone have any ideas where to start to enable this again. It normally worked with Audi connect traffic.

Makes sense. At first I thought since you bought the Pro, and it is supposed to come with x number of pre-loaded credits, you'd probably use that first, then I just read it comes with only 11 credits and Auto Start/Stop requires 100.

You don't have to use the 'App' and save yourself 100 credits by just adjusting one adaptation channel yourself. It's dead simple.

Agreed, it's a popular mod and I'm sure that's why it "costs" that many credits, but there's nothing to it. Maybe it's more complicated on other models.
