Premium Plus Vision Package?
is there a valuable difference between the xenon plus headlights and LED? I don’t plan on having the WiFi package so I’m not sure the virtual cockpit is worth it in the vision package. Thought?

When we were first looking I wasn't even considering the vision package. While the VC was nice I didn't think it was a big deal.. I really don't know what I was thinking at the time because for $2,000 it was well worth it since it not only includes the VC, but the LED's and Surround View Camera's..
But then my wife saw the VC and had to have it, and usually she could care less what options she gets. Now close to a year and a half later and I am so glad we got it..

The top view camera is a deal breaker for me. With two "active" kids and small parking lots, its just too stressful to not have it. also, the LED lights are amazingly clear on dark nights.

I'll address your original question in isolation. The LEDs are garbage, and Xenons will provide as good performance. Of course, there are other things included in the package etc., but for me the LED headlights have been the biggest let down in the Q7

Right Big Dog, i miss those headlights on my 2015 beamer 5 series that were hids. I know from forums that you can change the level (manufacture set lower for suv) but big dog did you notice any difference because i have seen you were involved in a discussion with one. What conclusion you came to?

No, I never got down to doing it. I should give it a go.
I too have been spoiled by BMW Xenons, which level, swivels etc. Driving on a twisty road with BMW lights is just awesome as the beam follows the road. I feel like I'm blind in the Audi when driving on the twisty roads because the beam stays straight
