Hi, I have a 2017 Q7 with the upgraded sound system. It sounds great, but when on FM it occasionally gets static on multiple stations, and the AM Digital signal tends to drop out for about 5 seconds at a time. I'm in a city listening to local stations and this is very easily reproduced. I have taken the vehicle in but they the dealer tells me they can't find anything wrong with it. It seems pretty bad to me to pay that much more for an upgraded sound system to not be able to reliably tune in FM stations.
Thoughts?

Yes, I understand. My guess is that B&O doesn't make the FM tuner, and that is what the issue is. It may also be that there is some electromagnetic interference from the additional equipment involved with the B&O installation. Either way, I'm not getting clear FM reception.
It doesn't happen when playing digital or streamed media.

I get some cut outs once in a while but no static. I thought that it was due to HD radio being on. My theory was more information for HD coupled with a week signal or interference could lead to some drop outs. I haven't tested my theory.

FM HD sounds great.
While we're on the subject, does anyone know how to switch HD1 to HD2 without going through manual tuning? On my other car, it's a quick one click.
