I will visit a few other dealerships and consider just how much I want to buy this for my wife.
If you're able and willing to travel some distance (PA), there are deals to be found, especially on custom orders. Can share details via PM if interested.

Contact SYMAWD here on the forums as well, think he works for a dealer in NJ and they may be able to do better than the Boston area dealers.

Good luck.

Well, I tried. Jen Brown said they are selling at retail, but would throw in the prepaid maintenance package which is worth around $850 I guess. Made it sound that I was getting that deal because I currently own an Audi. Man, paying retail is something I have never done when purchasing a new car. Love the Q7, but guess I will have to see just how much I love it.

I know the Q7 is selling well, but here in Colorado the dealers are offering $1,000 off MSRP from an email inquiry. I'm hoping to negotiate at least 3% off.

That's a tough choice I faced too but luckily I received the now defunct 6% supplier discount back in March before it expired. The problem is, there are very few options available for the 3 rows 7 passenger luxary SUV. I considered the Acura MDX and XC90 and quickly dismissed them both. The Infinity QX60 was not very enticing either. The BMW X5 was clearly inferior to Q7 and the GL450 was too big and more expensive. The choice was clear and I am not surprised its going for MSRP with limited production of the new Q7.

hopefully by the time we order beginning of next year things will have settled a little and we can get at least 6% off MSRP.

We are talking about Q7 not A4.

I live in So Cal and was able to negotiate a 3% off custom order. However, it is looking like 6 mo until it arrives and we might not be able to wait that long. Found a prestige nearby and they would only give us $1500 off MSRP. Low inventory. There is not much out there.

Guess it depends on how bad you want it. My case i get family discount , family works at VW. That was a chore. Audi sent me the form with the list of dealers in my are that took family discount. Well found out its up to dealer if they want to take it. Local one didn't want to, ended up close to Cleveland. Then Local had a change of heart and took my order. What i do know in my case is, MSRP X.95% is invoice. So guess anywhere from there to MSRP. I ordered prestige with some options. Be my first Audi and hope it is worth the wait. Check Google, dealers are posting them there for some reason.
