I took out my Weathertech mat to clean it, and notice the driver's side floor was soaked (see towels). We have has significant rain in Philly area over the past 10 days-prob close to 2 1/2"-3 inches.
That was the only spot wet in the car.
Is it safe to assume there is an issue with the sunroof drains? The roof framework was replaced 12/2019 (it was making a banging sound, replaced under warranty).
Thanks in advance...

You would have to check whether the water drainage from the sunroof is clear. Sometimes the drainage tubes become clogged with debris. Open the sunroof, pour some water in the area where there is drainage from the driver's side and watch for water appear under the car. If so, it means that the drain is unobstructed.
This is where I would start.

yes, been there done that. it is most likely the drain that runs from the driver side front corner of the sunroof frame into the driver front wheel well. have the dealership clean all of the drains. take a look at this thread.

FWIW all sunroofs leak. the seals are not completely water tight and that is why the frame has drains. the q7 has 4 drains that run to each of the wheel wells on the vehicle and the fender liner needs to be pulled to check the operation of them (and clean them).
