Default Traffic jam assists quit working today after just 1200 mi. on Q7.

Today I got this message after only 1200 mi.

"Traffic jam assist: unavailable. See owner manual."

"Side assist not available." on the vehicle settings.

Real bummer.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

It was probably too loud in your car.

I've had this happen when the radar sensors are very dirty, or snow covered. Removal of the offending substance solved the problem.

You might be right. I drove from Toronto to Mount Treblant and back in the last 72 hrs. On snow sleet and freezing rain.

First thing on the agenda today is a good wash.

Though the raffia jam and side line assist I think are camera based.

Yes, the camera in your front grill, which is likely full of road gunk. Spit on your finger, clean the lens, see if it helps.
