Got my letter today. I've been smelling a little coolant after parking but almost zero coolant loss. Figured I'd get around to doing the water pump eventually but this might fast track the project.

I am lucky I guess. My water pump went bad a month before my factory warranty expired and replaced it under warranty.

Received the letter as well. I bought a replacement water pump at FCPEuro as preventative maintenance item (expecting it to go at some point) so this should cover my expenses should I ever need it replaced (Q7 currently on 22K ODO so imagine it is still early). Or, I may prod my mechanic to replace it proactively

22k is early so you should be good for a bit. I have read of some leaking as early as 36k miles and others much later. Mine leaked at 68k miles and replaced it myself. I also got it from FCP Euro so I'm good if it does leak again down the road (currently at 101k).

Received my wife's paperwork yesterday.

Since hers has not leaked yet and she is at 90k miles on her MY18 I would guess it is no benefit for us.

Am I correct in that it either helped with previous repairs or extended the warranty to 7 yrs or 70k miles?

Anyone who has had theirs repaired or DIY please submit the documentation. Audi would not admit anything wrong and this is our chance to get something back.

Oh I will but I had mine replaced at 76K miles. Thus why I believe I'm outta luck.

Does anyone actually send in maintenance history with their forms? Looks like I could get some percentage back of third party waterpump replacement. 6.5 years, 64k when replaced.

We just got our copy today. We have a 2019 17 3.0T with 40k on the clock. Not sure if I have a leak, my coolant bottle is below the low level. I am going to plan to take it into Audi and ask for them to replace the water pump, I wonder if we can get the replacement if there is not a recall without being able to prove if there is any leaking?
