Only if you want constant rubbing in the back, need to make sure fenders are rolled back there

Would you stick 205/60R15s on 15x8s?

Default It will still rub on hard bumps and lowered car, need to roll the rear fenders on '83... that's all.

No need on telling the guy 225s will fit if his problem is the wheel and the offset. BTDT
Either a cheap home made bat approach or proffessional fender rolling jig.. after that he can enjoy the beautiful 225 on an 8" world...

Isn't it nice? ... the 225s and 8" ers really do make the car... 215s just don't cut it...

Does rolling the fenders require re-painting?

Default 215/50R15 was OEM according to 1985 model change

publication (service training) that was published by audi. So I'd assume they won't rub if you happen to have an 85.

Default Re: 15x8" ronal tire size for '83 urquattro

the correct tire size is 215-50-15 of which I only know of one manufacturer that makes this and the are Kumho the tire is the 711 model which has a similar tread design to the original bridgestone potenze re-71 from the porsche 959 car. You will definately have to roll the rear fender though to avoid rubbing.
