that's interesting. I look at the Ur market and what's out there and wonder who's "dreaming"
and who's really down to earth about their car's condition.
There aren't too many $20K ur-q's left from what I've seen. Most have been sub 50K mile examples that most would be afraid to drive. I guess in a blue sky world I'd like one of those AND a $4K driver that I wouldn't be afraid to put some miles on and enjoy.
email me privately if you don't mind sharing your opinions on the "other" car. Always interested in hearing since I'm 1800 miles away.

I think your car is in very good shape. With my Kl to Mile cal (1 mile = 1.609 kilometers) its = 73,000 mile car with euro bumpers with good paint. If the car has been stored correctly and has no rust, its over 10k ++

Where in Michigan are you?
Is the car still up for sale? I'd like to check it out if your close by. I am in Rochester MI. Why do I have a feeling I know this car? Was it up for sale on craigslist like 2 years ago?

It's Sold.
Well, I just closed the deal with David. Great guy and a very nice car. The unusual thing is the car was never converted/Federalized but has a valid Michigan title - Euro bumpers, Euro gauges, no CAT, probably no door beams, etc. -- Curt
