I am attacking a few things to try and reduce some of the heat probs in these things, and am wondering if it would be beneficial to ceramic coat the exhaust manifold. Mine is currenty apart anyway. I have a very nice, crack free manifold. Just don't want to instigate any cracks. Opinions? I am going to use header wrap on the exhast pipe from the man to the cat. Also toying with the idea of an stainless steel heat shield on the bottom of the intake manifold.

I've had no problems, I've heard that you're not supposed to wrap the manifold unless you have the higher temp "2000" coating....

the Front axle which has a heat shield bolted to the transmission.
I don't think that modificiation is factory A2 spec.
I wonder why he'd bother with that. Im not running a cat either, but I cant see the exhaust getting that hot that far back. Aside from the wrap, that looks identical to my car.
