This came from the guy who sold me the parts.
I'll just copy and paste what he sent me.
"Rothman Quattro was crushed, a week before I saw the advert. I spent weeks
trawling around the breakers yards to hunt it down. I eventually found out
where it was - and it had been crushed the day it arrived at the yard.
Body, wheels and interior all went to the crusher. The guy knew the other
bits were, as he put it, juicy so removed them - including engine and loom.
When I went to his place he was walking around picking bits off shelves,
from in boxes - they were everywhere - took a few days to locate it all.
The chap knew very well the car was special, and that it was worth a lot of
money, but needed space (so he said) He had the car for a long time. Someone
flew in from Finland and bought it, for ice rallying, but couldn't get the
necessary paperwork to export it. This was eight years ago.
Parts can be exported without paperwork, but not cars... so he stripped it."
"it had a rust hole at the top of the windshield. no fire. it had the
suspension and serious brakes. the wheels were the real deal too, on semi
slicks. it had some other really amazing stuff. yeah it all went. bad thing,
my friend knew of the car but never told me because he wanted it - but then
forgot to phone. i was so annoyed.
I had a few issues about it, and got very angry. I've just about got over it
now...> where it was - and it had been crushed the day it arrived at the
yard."

Nice urq was in a bad crash - i think the story was the recycler removed the tires for resale but sent the 8" R8's into the crusher.

too many casualties out there much like the Rothman's Urq, 1964 pontiac Grand Prix 421SD (one out 17 crushed survived), 1986 Trans-AM powered by a GNX 3800 turbo V-6 Indy pace car (all 50 crushed never used for Indy), couple of early 1963 Plymouth Belvidere 426 hemi mules cars (one still exists a rumor of three others crushed). Truly sad, sounds like that Urq wasn't all that bad.
