No, you can tell because the angle of windshield is too low.

Default my 5 year prototype named Dr Piëch

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/120892/dr._piech.jpg"></center><p>
In the high desert in New Mexico at the base of the Rocky Mountains is the perfect secluded place to develop proto-types. Over the years in this "big sky" prototypes like the "Little boy" and "fat man" changed our history. More recently at my brothers race shop a new proto-type that took five years to complete was the short boy. Short Boy has some negatives for a project name so early in the development the project code name was set as Dr Piëch, and today we refer to my sport proto-type as "Dr Piëch".

Why Dr Piëch?
He is the grandson of Dr. Porsche and nephew of Ferdinand Porsche.

After completing his doctorate in engineering and aerodynamics he became the Head of the Porsche's Racing and Development department, with overall responsibility for the development and performance of:
911R
904
906
910
909
All the 908's
And the 917.

In the early 1970s the Porsche family stepped down from running the day to day operations of the Porsche Factory. Dr Piëch moved over to Audi, though I have never read that he was involved in the day to day's on Audi's racing programs, the least he did as one of the top executives was approve the Ur Q and Sport racing expenditures.

I would have a hard time believing that a man with his background wasn't out digging around the race shop after hours...

I'm over in Germany this week on business, planning over 1000 miles on the autobahn.

Default Ah, 94 200? Whatchasmokin?

Do you mean 94 V8? The 200 was long dead by 1994.

Also, where in Germany are you?

Default 16x8 Ur-S4 wheels

<center><img src="http://www.igdc.com/ejfluhr/audi/urq/s4urq.jpg"></center><p>I'm using a somewhat ratty set of these for track wheels. This picture is Eric Fluhr's car with a set. At home I've got some high-res of mine at Barber last year. Let me know if you want me to post 'em up.

I really like these wheels except for one thing--the offset (ET40). They're forged, wide, have a nice deep lip, and are a bit reminiscent of the original Fuchs. The offset pushes them inboard a bit much (though not quite as far as the Fuchs). I've considered spacers, but not sure I'm comfortable with that idea.

Default Spacers - why not?

I run 1/2 inch spacers on my GT, and have for the past several years. It's seen probably 50-60 track days on them with no issues. I did have to swap in studs, but that was a no-brainer and has made track life much more barable.
