On my 84 I was going to cut some front brackets off and weld them on the rear. It didnt look like there was room.

It is possible to put sway bars on those as well, but the brackets are much different.
Some people weld on the mounts or use the setup from early '90 CQs on the later cars.
On the early cars with the top of the subframe mounted tie rods and rear sway bars that clamp on to the A arms, the early CGT and 4k sway bars work. These are larger than the original ur q bars, but smaller than the fronts.
