Mr Pants...or is it Mr Fru-T?? Aw heck...Hey Patrick.....
I'm getting my urq done at a shop in Branford, CT this coming March. This guy is good as well, has done a few rust bucket Ferrari restorations and various mussel cars. Can you let him practice on yours first? HA! joke. Hopefully mine will be completed by Carlisle and you can check it out then, unless you're looking at a sooner date to have your car done. This shop is called T.W Restorations. 203-488-6150. Mention my name if you happen to call.

How about this place? They restored an original "Batmobile"
My girlfriend called them up, looking at restoring the urq.
They roughly figure that to restore most any car 'completely' (Totally dissassemble, repair all bodywork with metal, and reassemble) would be about ~$60K, take about a year, and be billed weekly to a credit card!
But take a look at some of the projects that they have done, including the custom Rods. Way cool..!
Very interesting, but *Very* much out of my price range!

http://www.theguildofautomotiverestorers.com/</a

Thanks for the info, Gary...
I'm looking to have it R&R'd before Carlisle(but not necessarily "for" Carlisle ;-), so seeing yours won't do me much benefit. The car will be down South before then, and driving it up to CT for work isn't really in the cards.
I may give your guy a call when the time draws nigh.
Two things:
1) Patrick is fine, but Fru-T if you want to use the sreenname.
and
2)(you had me laughing at the thought of this one) What the heck is a mussel car? Are the majority of them made near Prince Edward Island up North on the coast? Do they have bi-valve engines? ;-P
