Is there a VAG diesel engine that bolts to an 016?

Nope... but you can get a 016 from a Euro 4 cyl (typ 85). Only problem is way short gearing....
probably 4.55:1 which would kill your diesel... redline in 5th (4000rpm) at 120-130km/h..

One may ask 'why' a diesel in a urq, but I doubt would object.
But a modded Turbo diesel would be kind of cool!

Should weight pretty much same or maybe a bit more than a 10v turbo motor......
Block is same, head should weigh same (roughly), turbo etc. ONly aded extra would be the diesel injector pump. THat's all.
