Anyone know if the military guy in the Springs with the $16K Stage III Allroad sold his? Was going to check that one out, but my S4 got a visit from the Turbo Lady...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/allroad/msgs/243796.phtml">440hp K04 allroad project complete! Default That's Me

I bought the car at the end of December on Ebay and it shipped out, it arrived a few weeks ago. It is a really amazing car.

I was in a really bad motorcycle accident last August, compound fracture of my left tibia/fibula, broke my right femur into four pieces, and my right tibia/fibula was smashed, they quit counting at 14 pieces. Things we going fairly well until early January when the main plate holding my tibia together broke. Two weeks ago they removed all the hardware (27 pieces of metal) from my tibia. I've also been battling an infection issue in the tibia. My doctor is planning another surgery this Wednesday, after a consult with another orthopedic surgeon at Denver Health.

So in any event, I can drive a manual transmission car, but it is kind of a hassle right now. The doctors are talking about an external fixator, which may make it more difficult to drive, if at all. The S6 is just an smooth easy car to drive.

Maybe TMI.

Alex, it was nice talking to you about the S6.

I'll be at the Georgetown event tomorrow with my son (he turns 16 next month). Look for a blue B5 A4 and a guy on crutches.

Default Sorry to hear about that

Would have loved to buy your S6 or StgIII Allroad, but I'm going to be spending the mad money on new turbos etc for the S4. Will keep the A6 Avant for a couple more years, but I really like the C5 platform.

Good luck with the recovery!
