Anyone here done this?
My new 4 car garage will be done soon and I am thinking about staining the garage floor before I move anything into it.
(Don't want the Audi to have a boring old garage to live in)
Picture?

...but it seems to me like acid staining would leave a porous surface. This one in the picture is glossy and the color is not consistent.
I love the look of the floor in the photo, but is that all there is to getting that look? Just prep the floor, then a one-step stain?

after the acid staining and needs to be sealed.
I may also go this route, rather than the epoxy sealant. Looks killer

I bet that clear coat, if really durable (i.e. worth doing), is pretty expensive and has nasty fumes. Nonetheless, I love the look and think it'd be worth doing right.
