Default Red Lion Inn in Boulder Canyon has a good surf-n-turf. Sits on Boulder Creek in the canyon.

Nice setting and great service. Congrats on the anniversary.

Default Meritage at the Omni Interlocken - new chef and staff

They hired the kitchen manager/sous chef from Flagstaff House and set him up to make a fine restaurant, not a hotel restaurant. Haven't been yet, but should be good.

(Disclosure - his mom works in my office, that's how I know. Though there was a Daily Camera writeup last week.)

Default Oh, and skip l'Absinthe in Boulder. Decent food, but overpriced by a lot.

Stupid wine prices, too - $9-13/glass for mediocre wine. Recockulous.
