anyone close to conifer have a vag com i can borrow to reset my moms a8 immobilizer?

I'm in Evergreen, but...
..it's my understanding that the dealer is the only on that can program the immbolizer. Something about requireing a live connection to AoA/VoA to make it work.
...at least that was the case with our '02 after we got a new key made. FWIW, Stammler did it for free after I asked nicely.
If you know something I don't, you are more than welcome to use mine though.
