Default Anyone got work done at Kustom Kar Audio??

justed moved to boulder, i have the compenents for my system, just need them installed. I have 2 JL 12w7, 2 JL 1000/1 amps. I need them to build me a box, nothing special just a regular box, and install the eqipment. How much do you guys think it will run, is there a place you recomend for this more than KKA
thanks

Default Clay is awesome, but if Kustom is too expensive, I have a guy locally

(Centennial) who can do the work. Former Car Toys installer who does great work.

Default KKA is a great place (my experience...)

I had work done there on my last vehicle (not an audi) while i was at CU for my undergrad. I would recommend going to him without any equiptment because he sells some great stuff. I showed up with some MB Quarts and some JLs and he took me aside to audition some of the stuff he sells and I was blown away. Needless to say I returned the MBs and JLs and went with some Dynaudio components and Alumapro subs, I powered it all with some McIntosh Labs amps that I brought along (he respected those). For a source I used the Nakamichi MB100.

I would highly recommend picking up a pair of Alumapro Alchemy 12RXs that he carries and power them with a Zapco C2K-9.0XD (it pushes 2200 watts of power).

I had a lot of friends who were Audi enthusiasts and they were really happy with his work. I only wish he could have worked on my B6 (I now live in Philly).

Be sure you give a call before you go, he tends to meet with people by appointment only.

KKA's website
