Default Anyone need more PES in their life?

Spoke with this guy down in Co Springs. Got a test ride in his car...

Poor chap, got laid off and decided it was his destiny to return his 3.0 PES tuned A4 back to stock before he sold. Hurting for money...

For those with a 2.8, PES exclaims the two kits are NON-interchangeable, so 3.0 V6 owners only...

Denver CL: Flawless supercharger setup for Audi

Default Only option to speed up the family '03 A6 wagon

Another $700 to have PES re-flash our ECU since his is for an A4. Do you know the seller well? Who did the install/uninstall?

Sorry he spent that kind of mod money only to turn around and unload it five months later.

Default Re: Only option to speed up the family '03 A6 wagon

Don't know him well... I was interested for my 2.8, but was unsure of the difference in the two intake manifolds of the 3.0 and 2.8... Wasn't interested in modding much myself. He drove to my place in Springs, we chatted for awhile, then went for a ride. Ran superb! Not a hiccup the whole time, ran smooth through to redline... Really pretty quiet too! - That is, until you give about 30% throttle, then it comes on strong and whines like a fire siren.

If I was him, I'd look for a job instead of trying to sell my hard-work (or lack-thereof...). Even WalMart would yield a 300/wk paycheck that would pay for the car.

I don't know if you would need a re-flash of the ECU. I think his ECU would work, as they include their own injectors, the rest of the motor is pretty similar.

I'm pretty sure he did all the work himself. Seemed pretty much bolt-on. He did mention he was running too lean so installed the OEM FPR as opposed to the 1 bar lower FPR PES sent. He likely wouldn't hesitate to let you drive it if you show him $1500 cash...
